Mtazamo wa Wanafunzi wa Kiswahili kama Lugha ya Kigeni kuhusu Hofu ya Kuitumia ChatGPT kama Zana ya Kujifunzia Kiswahili

Makala hii imechunguza mtazamo wa wanafunzi wa Kiswahili kama lugha ya kigeni (kuanzia sasa, LgK) kuhusu hofu ya kuitumia ChatGPT kama zana ya kujifunzia Kiswahili. Lengo la makala hii lilikuwa kuibua maarifa kuhusu hofu inayowakumba wanafunzi wanaoitumia ChatGPT kama zana ya kujifunzia Kiswahili. Kwa sababu tafiti nyingi zilizochunguza mtazamo wa wanafunzi wa LgK wanaoitumia ChatGPT zimejikita zaidi kwa wanafunzi wanaojifunza Kiingereza kama LgK. Aidha, tafiti hizo zinaonesha kuwa ingawa wanafunzi wengi wa Kiingereza kama LgK wana mtazamo chanya kuhusu matumizi ya ChatGPT kama zana ya kujifunzia Kiingereza, wapo wengine hukumbwa na hofu wanapoitumia zana hiyo. Data za utafiti huu zilikusanywa kutoka kwa wanafunzi wanaojifunza Kiswahili kama LgK katika vituo viwili vinavyofundisha Kiswahili kwa wageni nchini Tanzania ambavyo ni TATAKI na MS TCDC. Sampuli ya utafiti huu ilikuwa ni wanafunzi 10 kutoka katika vituo teule ambayo ilipatikana kwa mbinu ya usampulishaji lengwa na fursa. Data kutoka katika sampuli hiyo zilikusanywa kwa mbinu ya usaili na kuwasilishwa kitaamuli, na kuchambuliwa kwa kuongozwa na Modeli ya Ukubalifu wa Teknolojia. Matokeo ya utafiti huu yanaonesha kwamba wanafunzi wa Kiswahili kama LgK wanaoitumia ChatGPT kama zana ya kujifunzia Kiswahili wanakumbwa na hofu ya kuitegemea ChatGPT kupita kiasi, majibu yasiyo sahihi yanayotolewa na ChatGPT, Kiswahili kinachotumiwa na ChatGPT, kutoamini kama ChatGPT inaelewa wanachotaka, na hofu ya ChatGPT kuwa ya kulipia. Utafiti huu unapendekeza elimu itolewe kwa wanafunzi wa Kiswahili kama LgK namna sahihi ya kuitumia ChatGPT kwani hofu zingine zimebainika kuwa zinatokana na ukosefu wa maarifa ya jinsi ya kuitumia
